To quite know what to say, about the man who can turn his hand to create anything from bonsai pots to wonderful works of bonsai art, you only need to know him as Dan Barton.

He is an acclaimed author, a well known bonsai artist with his own blog and the Wellingtonia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) he created which is now in John Trotts collection is one of my favourites, as I know how hard they are to create a convincing bonsai with. Dan will be trading at the 2012 10th Anniversary Swindon Winter Image Show and will have a range of new accent pots for sale. He is also the blogsite coordinator for Magical Bonsai Accents who are hosting a show on the 27th May 2012 in the Failand Village Hall in Failand, North Somerset so check out their website for more details.

He is kindly donating a few accent pots for the raffle for our winter show which he will be making prior to the show.
