Bristol Bonsai Society at Roots Bonsai Show displayed two stunning Pine trees as tokonomas, one a Japanese Black Pine and the other a White Pine, plus a very unusual hedge as the centre between the two pines which was complete with a cat on a style, coke bottle and set off with a Japanese Maple.
The society holds monthly meetings at 19.30hrs. — mostly on the last Tuesday of the month, and currently at the Failand Village Hall, Oxhouse Lane, Failand, North Somerset, BS8 3TS. The monthly programmes vary considerably and include; practical workshops, lectures, demos, critiques etc. and of course, our annual Bonsai Show each summer. New members are always welcome!!
