During the Bonsai Clubs International Convention in Guangzhou in China, on one of the field trip days we were fortunate to visit the and meet the Chairman and CEO and Founder, Mr Chen Chang. In addition to have a superb collection of bonsai trees at the Panyu Chu Kong Steel Pipe Co. Ltd. Bonsai Garden there is also a large bonsai tree growing nursery which plus around 3,000 hectares of breeding farm of brocaded Carp.
Here are just a few examples of the bonsai growing fields where air pots are widely in use across the site and the trees are in various stages of development as bonsai of all sizes and species alike. It was an amazing sight to behold and wandering through the row upon row of trees was fascinating as it was awe inspiring to see so many trees in production in one location.
Following our visit we were all invited to an amazing 14 course lunch which started off with a main highlight dish of lobster one one per table for over 400 guests which was a feat as well as a feast. So thank you again for allowing us to visit the nursery and also for a superb lunch.
