This month we had an evening looking back at the Siberian Elms that various club members had been growing over rocks for the past few years since being given them as cuttings.
This month was a well attended tree of the month with ten entries. Here are the trees that were in this months competition.
What an excellent day, we had John Pitt of John Pitt Bonsai Ceramics for a whole day workshop and he ran through a critique of each of the club members trees that were brought along to the workshop.
The Swindon ‘Winter Image’ Show will be here soon, and arrangements are being made for it. The Grange Drive centre has been booked for Sunday the 24th February 2013. Newbury and District Bonsai Society hosted a bonsai show at Roots Garden Centre off Priors Court Road near hermitage today and it was a very good event.
