Friends of National Bonsai Collection Boot Sale
March 17 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
A bonsai car boot sale to come and trade your bonsai and bonsai items or buy more from other fellow bonsai hobbyists and enthusiasts. A great event and in the car park of Birmingham Botanical Gardens where the National Bonsai Collection is held. £20 per boot payable on the day.
At the end of 2013 the Management of Birmingham Botanical Gardens installed a 24 hour automated system which records all vehicles entering the car park. The driver of each vehicle MUST enter their registration number (WITHIN 1 HOUR of entering the car park) into one of the two machines located inside the building. Failure to register your vehicle will result in an automated fine of £75.00. There are no exceptions or appeals! On the morning of the Boot Sale and FoBBS AGM (Sunday, 17th March) visitors will only be able to gain access to the machines from shortly after 8 a.m. so anyone driving onto the car park before 7 a.m. will not be able to register their vehicle within the hour stated and as a consequence will automatically be faced with a £75.00 fine in the post. FNBC and FOBBS cannot be held responsible if visitors to the Bonsai Boot sale enter the car park before 7 a.m. and/or fail to enter the details of their vehicle into one of the machines as set out above. The event will take place in the lower part of the car park furthest from the entrance. Please park where directed by an FNBC official. Visitors who are not selling are asked to park at the top end of the car park nearest to the entrance gate. Polite notice. If people arrive early and set up in a way that takes up too much room they will be asked to move.
