First and foremost thank you all for coming to this years Swindon Winter Image Show it wouldn’t be the same without you all and it proves it is a thriving bonsai community.
It was another great show, so many amazing trees and I should know as a I got to study each one individually. We had a great diversity with a high number of native trees too. The range of styles, designs and shapes of bonsai trees on display was such that there was something for everyone to be inspired by. Really enjoyed some of the more naturally styled trees that were mimicking trees in nature which was fabulous. There were so many stand out trees to name and despite only having 12 awards so many more were award worthy and we appreciate you bringing them along to display at our show.
Thank you to John Pitt our Show Sponsor for all your support and our other award sponsors of John Trott of Mendip Bonsai Studio and David and Mark of Walsall Studio Ceramics.
Also thank you to all the traders who support the show and gave some stunning raffle prizes plus bought lots of excellent bonsai items for sale today.
We hope you all had a great time too and a massive thank you to our club members and supporters for all your hard work throughout the year before, during and after the event to make it all happen and run smoothly.
