What a great weekend bonsai hunting so much to see and buy at the Lodder Bonsai Open Weekend with over 20 traders, exhibitions, displays and activities for all the family.
From Ikibana through to paper making, Chinese brush painting, stone sculptures being crafted, manga portraits plus home made Sushi. In addition to two stunning display areas of large bonsai plus exquisite Shohin and Mame bonsai. There was also a tribute to Arihato who was a former bonsai hobbyist and larch specialist who will be sadly missed by all he connected with.
It was a great opportunity to meet new bonsai friends and see new trees on display and new and unusual bonsai pots and products. If you get the chance book a trip to Lodder bonsai in the Netherlands especially on their open weekends or look out for them at Koi shows in the UK this year.
