Here are a couple of photos from Andy. This Acer Palmatum ‘deshojo’ was bought from Swindon club members last year when they were “reducing” their collection. It has been overwintered in the greenhouse and has been recently re potted. It is looking in prime condition in it’s first burst of Spring colour.
This Larch forest has just been created by Andy and his able assistant Mandy. Using 17 trees that he had been growing on over the past few years – mostly purchased from Chris Thomas. He thought his style fitted well with a conifer woodland scene. Planted up last month with the 17 larches that had been put to one side over the past few years, with this in mind. The pot was made by Graham Simpson of Dragonfly Bonsai Pots.
