October’s club meeting was a workshop, an inspiring evening of creativity & learning. Our new and experienced bonsai enthusiasts gathered to refine their skills and share their insights. Members brought their trees to work on, ranging from a Korean Hornbeam to a Japanese White Pine.

The workshop started with a brief introduction from our vice chairman, updating us on what has been going on and is upcoming in the UK bonsai scene. Then, members got to work pruning & wiring their trees, offering tips to those trying it for the first time. It was wonderful to see everyone help one another, with more seasoned bonsai artists lending guidance to beginners.
