Wiring tonight
Tonight was all about wiring and Mark Kerry did a talk on the principles of wiring followed by one-to-one guidance on wiring specific club members’ trees to aid with their own wiring.
Chris Thomas Workshop

FOBBS at Chelsea Flower Show
Congratulations to this years Federation of British Bonsai (FoBBS) team for achieving an amazing 12 point Gold Medal at the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show.
RHS Master Grower John Trott
John Trott of Mendip Bonsai Studio has been recognised as a Master Grower by the Royal Horticultural Society in 2019 and had an amazing bonsai stand and display at this years RHS Malvern Spring Show in the Floral marquee.
Lee Verhorevoort new bonsai for 2019
Today was the first day for everyone to have an opportunity to view and buy the new bonsai stock that Lee has bought in from Japan for 2019 after being through quarantine plus rigorous testing and checks by the plant health governing authorities for the past few weeks / months.
Expo Bonsai Show 2019
This was the 2nd Expo Bonsai Show on Sunday 7th April and again it was a superb show with a new selection of bonsai trees on display for everyone to enjoy. Well done to Steve Hale and the whole team who have excelled themselves again with putting together another successful bonsai show.
Mame display by Michael Partridge
Michael presented a mame display made up of 6 of his trees with a bamboo and moss accent. He is a long standing member of Swindon Bonsai Club and has grown most of the mame trees from cuttings since 2014 at this years club show.
