The club always gets a lot out of a workshop with John Armitage, this time was no exception – his advice is always timely, structured and well considered. Held all day at our usual meeting place there was a good mix of starter stock being worked on as well as the more refined stuff. John’s paint sprayer proved very popular – loaded with water instead of paint, it makes the perfect tool for cleaning out the hard to reach areas efficiently (and noisly). The day was fuelled by caffeine and biscuits and there was a good amount of green waste by the end.
