The Wiltshire branch of the British Cactus & Succulent Society held it’s Annual show at the Melksham Assembly Hall today from 11am to 3.30pm. It was a great show and some of Swindon Bonsai club members who also enjoy the hobby of Cacti and Succulents entered into the show and did well.

The show was fun, with comprehensive judging and an awards ceremony for the prize winners who were presented with trophies and certificates for their award winning Cacti and Succulents. It was a great place for plant sales too as Parham Bungalow Speciality Plants were present including a Charity Plant Sale for Haven Home, India by Maureen Vince.

In addition Warminster Bonsai Society put on a great bonsai display and spent the day providing advice and guidance on bonsai and working on bonsai trees.

Things that caught my eye in this fascinating world of cacti and succulents…
