BCSS Cacti and Succulent Annual Show 2017 (Wiltshire Branch)

What a diverse range of plants under one roof, such a collection was phenomenal to see. It was a fun show with a lot of interest in cacti and succulents from everyone who came along to the annual British Cactus and Succulent Society Show Wiltshire Branch at Melksham Assembly Halls on Saturday 24th June 2017.

Cactus & Succulent Melksham

Cactus and succulent are a vast and extensive family of plants. You should check some of them out. Wiltshire branch are holding their annual show on 2nd July 2016 at Melksham Assembly Hall from 1100 to 1530. It’s only a quid to get in and has plant sales, refreshments and even some bonsai!

Wiltshire Branch Annual Cacti and Succulent Show

The Wiltshire branch of the British Cactus & Succulent Society held it’s Annual show at the Melksham Assembly Hall today from 11am to 3.30pm. It was a great show and some of Swindon Bonsai club members who also enjoy the hobby of Cacti and Succulents entered into the show and did well. 

Cactus & Succulent Convention

Have you got your ticket and are you going to the British Cactus & Succulent Society Zone 9 Convention which is on Sunday 19th April 2015. It starts at 10:00am and finishes around 5:00pm. The event is hosted by the Wiltshire Branch at Hardwicke Village Hall, Green Lane, Hardwicke, Gloucester. GL2 4QA.

Jade group development

Succulents make great bonsai, and one of the most common is the Jade plant or Crassula. There are many different types of Crassula, some with large thick succulent leaves whilst others have tiny leaves. They have flowers but some flower more readily than others in my experience.
