Huge congratulations go to John Trott of Mendip Bonsai Studio for his stunning bonsai display at the Gardeners World live at the NEC this year. Also what a surprise, John received a platinum award (one above a Gold) and the inaugural Geoff Hamilton award for best in show. He won against stiff competition as there were 106 exhibitors and in his words is “well chuffed”. Bonsai was well represented there with 4 platinum awards and a silver-gilt.
A well deserved award for a stunning bonsai display but also for such on going commitment to bonsai and creating such fantastic displays, John is a real ambassador of bonsai, well done.
