Tonight was accent night and Parnham Bungalow Plants from Market Lavington came along to sell us some of their superb alpine plants. It was a fun evening with a chance to get some inspiration of existing accent plantings made by club members and buy some new alpines and succulents to make your own.

Exeter Bonsai Show 2017
What started out 15 years ago as a new venue for Exeter bonsai societies annual show, The Pavilion on Exmouth seafront now sees societies, traders and enthusiasts from all over the South West descend on the 2nd Sunday of June each year for Bonsai South West.

FoBBS @Chelsea Flower Show 2017
This year there were a range of different trees on the Federation of British Bonsai display and the public were keen to ask many questions about the hobby of bonsai and the trees throughout the day.
Chelsea delights 2017
As usual Chelsea Flower Show was full of floral delights, sculptures and so much more, here was a gem found on the Suwada stand made from the off cuts of the amazing tools they produce.
Derbyshire Bonsai win Gold @Chelsea
Congratulations also to Derbyshire Bonsai for winning a Gold medal at Chelsea Flower show this year. Some very old trees were on display and enjoyed the accents displayed on drift wood style stands.
