Runner up exhibit, DA Merry Christmas!
This year we decided to have another Christmas meeting, more under the pretext of getting together for some food and a chat, than a conventional meeting.
David Cheshire AKA Bonsai Dave joined us for the evening, selling a profusion of different bonsai related products. We are heading into repotting season so need to stock up. It is really a long way for Dave to come down and visit us in Swindon, so we really appreciate the effort.

Dave is also the Chairman of FOBBS and wanted to present our Reg Bolton with an award of recognition for all the years he put into FOBBS and Bonsai generally over time. Congratulations Reg.
Sally organised a splendid buffet of all sorts of treats and nibbles. There wasn’t much left over. Enough said. Thanks Sally. Other than this we had some games to play and a ‘decorate your bonsai as a Christmas tree’. This was not part of our annual league competition, so just for fun. Doesn’t stop members being competitive though as you can see.
