LodderBonsai is a large bonsai nursery located in Utrecht Holland. It is owned and run by Gerrit Lodder and a great team of staff who are incredibly knowledgeable on all things bonsai and who helped to run the open weekend. The nursery is enormous and all under cover in a series of interconnecting greenhouses which are kept at various temperatures depending on which bonsai trees are being kept in them. It has been a great place to visit and we have been visiting since around 2006. The main loading area is cavernous and this is where the invited bonsai traders set up for the open weekend. There are so many offering amazing products for sale from hand-painted scrolls, mini and mame bonsai, handmade bonsai ceramics, bronzes, mini koi, accent plants, yamadori, bonsai tools and every accessory who would need for bonsai as well as garden ornaments.
