After a game of tree Tetris in the car, The Tree Fiddlers headed off for a workshop day at Mendip Bonsai, with John Trott. It was a day packed with great knowledge packaged in relax style.

An opportunity to get plenty of advice on a variety of trees, including yamadori Beech, cascade Cyprus, Privets, Mugo nursery stock and few purchases from the Bracknell show.

John teaching style really worked with the small group setting and we were able to get a range of species advice and seasonal work input.

Each of us got something out of the day and with all the pruning Barry was able to fit a field grown Hornbeam in the car without me having to Keister any of the smaller items we bought.
