Congratulations also to Derbyshire Bonsai for winning a Gold medal at Chelsea Flower show this year. Some very old trees were on display and enjoyed the accents displayed on drift wood style stands.

This was one amazing Cacti display which won a Gold for Southfield Nurseries and a well deserved one at this. This year the vibrancy and variation of plants on display in the Pavilion was exceptional and anyone visiting now only got a colourful array to feast the eyes on but also the scents from all the plants was exquisite. Below are a few images from the show for your enjoyment.
This year was the 8th consecutive Gold Medal at Chelsea Flower Show for FoBBS and under the show management of Reginald Bolton from Swindon and District Bonsai Society.
The build up to Chelsea is months of preparation with making the stand and all the elements of the display followed then by a very busy three days building the display up at Chelsea.
