This year was the 8th consecutive Gold Medal at Chelsea Flower Show for FoBBS and under the show management of Reginald Bolton from Swindon and District Bonsai Society. It has been through the dedication of Reg that this has been possible and he has continued to deliver a gold standard display now for 8 years with the support of other bonsai clubs and societies.

Pyracantha coccinea (Firethorn)
Another key member from Swindon Bonsai Society who has aided with the Chelsea stand is Terry Adams and he received the Bonsai Club International Award for his Pyracantha which was on the display at Chelsea this year.
Reg and Terry have been widely recognised for their bonsai over the years and in 2010 and 2012 received the prestigious Holford Medal from the Royal Horticultural Society on behalf of the FoBBS displays at Chelsea.
