John Trott Gold @Chelsea 2017

Floral delights @ Chelsea 2016

This year was another excellent year not just for bonsai but for all the gardens, floral displays and plants. It was great fun to explore the grounds and find such colourful and beautiful designs all around. Here are a few things that caught my eye.

John Trott Gold @ Chelsea

Congratulations also go to John Trott of Mendip Bonsai Studio who also got a Gold medal at Chelsea Flower Show this year. Below are a few pictures of the bonsai trees on his stand.

Bonsai @ The Malvern Show

John Trott had another success at the three counties show, held at Malvern 4th to the 8th May. He won a gold medal with a very good display of his trees. Arihato Award

I have eventually put all the elements together for the Arihato Award. Thanks to Paul Bowerbank for the stand and continued encouragement despite my inability to finish anything and Timpsons for the engraved plaque. Large Gold @ Newbury Show

Congratulations to Newbury and District Bonsai Society for receiving a large Gold medal for their display at the recent Royal County of Berkshire Show near Newbury Show in September. A good diversity of tree species, sizes and good overall composition of the display.
