Bristol Bonsai Society Show

Bristol Bonsai Society members did not disappoint today and had a show stopper to boot with a stunning Taxodium distchum (Swamp Cypress/Bald Cypress) which won the public vote as well as a personal favourite of mine too. Shohin UK Exhibition 2013

Organised by Mark & Ritta Cooper, the show was held at Failand Hall, Bristol. The exhibition concentrated on smaller Chuhin, Shohin and Mame trees.

Magical Accent Show at Failands

Well it was certainly a different show. Helped by the lovely warm weather. It was a first in the UK and Europe, so was a bit of a gamble, I for one really enjoyed the day and took away so many ideas for my own collection.

Bristol Bonsai Show 2011
