Thank you again Mark and MingChen Moreland and all those involved in organising and running the Heathrow Bonsai Show as this was yet another great bonsai show and fun event today. The range of bonsai trees on display was extensive and excellent, with some stunning autumn colour as well as some early winter images.

The Autumn Bonsai Show was held at Capel Manor Gardens in Enfield today by The Bonsai Group Enfield.

Within the UK, most bonsai enthusiasts keep outdoor bonsai trees and by this I mean they keep species of trees as bonsai that are acclimatised to the weather conditions of the UK. Native species of trees are frequently used as well as more hardy non native trees that make excellent bonsai specimens.
