If you are looking to keep bonsai but do not have space outside or just want to keep a bonsai tree inside then look no further than at tropical bonsai tree species as these need warmer growing conditions and are ideal to keep indoors.
There are a wide range of species and for the majority these trees originate from tropical climates and provide a wonderful diversity of features and forms and for the majority are evergreen and some have impressive flowers and fruit too. Here is a brief A-Z of species to start you off, and whatever the scale they come in all shapes and sizes to suit your requirement.
They also make ideal gifts and presents and are great trees to start with and are not overly expensive when starting out with the hobby. Certain varieties are easier than others though so choose your species carefully.
