It is great to see so many wonderful bonsai in one place, and here is a selection of some of the bonsai trees on display. This year also we had one exhibitor, Rudolf Mayer from Austria displaying his shohin Japanese Black pine (Pinus thunbergii) at the Swindon Winter Image Show. In addition to many people who had travelled fair distances in which to come to the show which was great to share experiences with as many people as possible.Individual exhibitors included John Pitt, Steve Mckee and Will Baddeley. Plus Simon Temblett with his European Beech (Fagus sylvatica), Martin Shepherd, Viv McTiffen with her Elm (Ulmus), Warren Radford with his Maple (Acer palmatum), Graham Simpson, Darren Turner with his Guelder rose (Viburnum opulus). Graham Simpson with his Privet (Ligustrum), Tony Tickle with his Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) and Andy Jordan with his shohin display.
Here are some of their trees and others that caught my eye during the show for your enjoyment.
