Warminster Bonsai club started over twenty five years ago when there was nothing like the information or speakers available today. Over the years like lots of clubs members have gained more knowledge and confidence to a point where we have members with a cross section of skills from the scientific to more practical skills as with carving. We welcome new club members and would be pleased to discuss more about our club with anyone at the forth coming Swindon Winter Image Show on Sunday 26th February where will be have a club display.

We have speakers and have held Saturday workshops with Lee Verhorevoort and Chris Thomas these have been particularly well received as we have seen the benefit of having an expert for eight hours with many of our trees improving quicker.

We try to cater for all levels and we are always looking to vary our calendar to add interest this year we have our monthly workshop meetings but have added in a discussion subject to promote a healthy debate, these can all be seen on our website. We considers ourselves as a friendly laid back club, the aim of the club is to promote bonsai, dispel a lot of the myths that the general public perceive around bonsai, cater for all levels at the hobby from the serious to the beginner.

To do this we have displayed at Swindon Winter image show, Wessex Bonsai show, Bonsai Roots, Wiltshire Cactus and Succulent show, Frome Chees show covering the serious bonsai nut to general public shows.
