Juniper

This month the competition had thirteen tree entries and as part of the evenings exercise we all carried out a task to judge one tree based on the new talent criteria suggested guidelines to judging.

Reg then reviewed all the judging sheets and we compare the results. It was an intriguing outcome with some interesting results on scoring and differences of opinion.

It was also interesting to note that under the judging task the tree that would have won overall did not feature highly in the tree of the month competition which was won overall by tree seven, a Chinese Elm.

Also this month there were three clear winners in first, second and third as opposed to previous months when scoring has been more widely spread over the trees. Here are the results of the competition and a selection of the entries.
