The Blackmore Vale Bonsai Group was formed a meeting in October 2007. Five present on the day has now grown to over 30. We have had to be transplanted twice having outgrown previous venues. The Berkshire Bonsai Society was formed in 1994 and is a small, friendly club dedicated to the enjoyment of Bonsai. Bedfordshire Bonsai Society is a friendly group of bonsai enthusiasts who meet monthly. The Society was formed in 1979 by Dennis Linsdell when he realised that a steadily growing interest in the art would be best served by getting those interested in Bonsai together to exchange views, ideas and practical experience. They meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm at Toddington Village Hall, Leighton Road, Toddington, Bedfordshire, LU5 6AN from March through to October.

In 1977 a group of Bonsai enthusiasts, led by Ken Moncrief and Frank Maddocks, decided to meet to share their enjoyment of Bonsai and this has continued and expanded to involve many more since them. It is a friendly club with a good range of club members of all levels of experience in bonsai as a hobby. They hold their meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7.30pm at The Coleview Community Centre, Towcester Road, Stratton St Margaret, Swindon, SN3 4AS. What another great Heathrow bonsai show, the 8th one and all credit to everyone who was involved in the show right from the initial preparation through to end result. There was a buzz from the outset with car parks over flowing with traders and exhibitors just before 8am and the high levels of activity continued throughout with over 450 visitors. The atmosphere was fun and friendly with bonsai talk on going in everywhere.
