In addition to seeing some stunning Shohin and Mame bonsai at the Spirit of Shohin Show at RHS Wisley there were also some creative and colourful accents, amazing bronzes, scrolls and beautiful pots.

Good examples of moss top dressing

  There were some good examples of moss used as top dressing at the Exposition de Bonsai in France at their recent Bonsai Show, here are some of them.

Nature as inspiration

Puzzlewood is an awesome woodland attraction near the village of Coleford in the Forest of Dean. We took a day trip to visit the awe inspiring woods following a recommendation from a fellow bonsai enthusiast and were not disappointed.
