This year at our Winter Show there were also some stunning evergreen / coniferous trees including a great collection of both Japanese White Pines and Japanese Black Pines as well as one or two admired examples of Scots Pines.

Wessex Bonsai Society was established in 1983 and hosted another great exhibition this year in addition to an Open Competition. They put on their own club display too which included some excellent trees and a diverse range of species including a Lilac which was in full flower.
This was our first visit to see the Bonsai trees on display at the Exposition de Bonsai in Neuville-Saint-Rémy in April this year and we were not disappointed.
