This year was amazing, the club members and volunteers who helped out on the Saturday for the set up did a great job and everything was in place well before 8pm.

The club meets on the first Wednesday of each month (except January) at 7.30pm at Speen Village Hall, Newbury. Most of the meetings include hands-on workshops where we bring trees to work on and get advice from other members of the club. Congratulations to Newbury and District Bonsai Society for receiving a large Gold medal for their display at the recent Royal County of Berkshire Show near Newbury Show in September. A good diversity of tree species, sizes and good overall composition of the display.
Our club display was a diverse range of species predominately broadleaved with one or two more unusual species including a Maidenhair tree and a Taiwanese Fig. One item that appeared to also draw attention
Dai-ichi of Hermitage, Newbury will be one of the traders at Our Winter Image show this coming February and will have a range of products for sale.
