After snow disrupting plans to visit Noelanders in January this year we held the Euro Tunnel booking and postponed it to a random date in May. Upon receipt of a reminder of this the week we searched around for any events in Europe and happened across the Sakura-Ten show

Wessex Bonsai Show
It was a very quiet show without the familiar voice of Manuel which is usually heard throughout the day discussing and explaining the art of bonsai to anyone who is interested. It was a very good show and had lots of excellent trees on display in the exhibition and by the local clubs.
Shohin UK Exhibition 2013
Organised by Mark & Ritta Cooper, the show was held at Failand Hall, Bristol. The exhibition concentrated on smaller Chuhin, Shohin and Mame trees.

Noelanders success for Swindon club members
Congratulations to Mark & Ritta Cooper for their success at this year’s Noelanders Bonsai Show. They collected a First prize Shohin Award, a Nomination as well as a BCI Award of Excellence Medal for their six tree shohin composition. Autumn Bonsai Show @ Capel Manor
The Autumn Bonsai Show was held at Capel Manor Gardens in Enfield today by The Bonsai Group Enfield.
Bonsai in Wales
It seemed well attended throughout the day at Bonsai in Wales this year, held in the Orangery within the beautiful gardens of Tredegar House, Newport. There was a good dose of Yew and Hawthorn on display and Kevin Wilson was demonstrating on a very large piece of yamadori.
Salisbury Show
Pictures taken at Salisbury Bonsai Society’s show at the Salisbury Auction Centre. Demonstrations with Peter Chan, John Trott and Manuel Gonzales. Additional traders included Brian Mackichan and Gordon Duffett. I’m pleased to announce Swindon took the best display in show title.
Family Fun Day – Queens Park, Swindon
