They were beautifully packaged for delivery and each pot is unusual and unique in style. At this years 11th Swindon Winter Image Bonsai Show on February 24th there will be a raffle with various prizes which include a donated bonsai pot which is a replica of an antique one in the collection of Diaz Iwasaki. Another successful bonsai trip to Holland to Hoka-en Bonsai studio aka Lodder Bonsai BV. We were warmly greeted by Gerrit Lodder who took time out to show us various fabulous bonsai trees and catch up since our visit last year. This year was as good as previous if not better as the breadth of tree species was incredible. You can see the full A- Z of bonsai all under one roof.
It is not so long now before our Swindon Winter Image Bonsai Show on the 24th February and Chrissie Leigh-Walker of Bushukan Bonsai is going to be coming along this year as a trader as well as an exhibitor.
She has offered to bring a wide range of bonsai soils so if you are looking for anything in particular, let her know in advance so she can bring sufficient quantities to save you missing out.
She will be selling Akadama, Kiru, Ezo, Pumice, Moler, Bushukan Grit, Lava rock black and brown, Leca and their own traditional mix all at competitive prices.

The ‘Winter Image’ show will soon be here in less than 3 weeks. Here is a list of the Awards. Noelanders Shohin Prize
Congratulations to Mark & Ritta Cooper for their success at this year’s Noelanders Bonsai Show. They collected a First prize Shohin Award, a Nomination as well as a BCI Award of Excellence Medal for their six tree shohin composition. Out of one-hundred and eight exhibits, they were the only UK exhibitors to win an award. A well deserved achievement for excellent displays.
