Casurarina eqiosetifolia (Australian Pine) is a species that I had not seen before ever as a bonsai and I have yet to see one in the UK either. We came across this species at the BCI convention in China and it certainly made an impression. For details on this species visit: Wigerts Bonsai
This unique pot was made by Stone Monkey and I am sure that everyone will want to own it. This special commemorative pot for Armistice Day 2016 will be travelling with him at each of the bonsai shows that he will be attending this year. He will be selling raffle tickets at £3 each and all monies received will be donated to the Royal British Legion in November 2016. The raffle will be drawn at 11 am on the 11th November 2016.
Tropical bonsai is great if you want to have a bonsai tree inside as they are able to cope with living indoors due to needing higher temperatures year round. They are often lower in price than some of the other species of outdoor tree so worth considering if you are just starting out in the hobby.

Warminster Bonsai is a small friendly club. We are enthusiastic and try to improve all the time. We meet at 7.30 in the evening, on the third Thursday of each month at Christ Church Hall BA12 9NS. This is located, first left as you go into Upper Marsh Road from Weymouth Street and opposite the Church.

If you want to start a hobby then why not think about bonsai, it is fun, rewarding and their are few limits to what you can create, but first here are a few simple principles to think about initially.
